MargaretJONES(née Allison) It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of Margaret Jones at her home on 25th November 2025, at the age of 90 years.
Margaret was the dearly beloved wife of the late Harry. She was a much-loved mum to Peter and Allison, and a cherished mother-in-law to Dianne and Chris. Margaret was also a treasured aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt, as well as a devoted sister to the late Dorothy, Vera and Albert.
Margaret was the former owner of "Margaret's" shops and was widely recognised as a well-known and respected member of the community.
A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at St. Johns Church, Normanby Road, South Bank at 1:00pm on Tuesday, 16th December 2025.
Flowers or donations in lieu will be gratefully received on the day for the Alzheimer's Society UK.
